In the world today seeing is believing so I wanted to share some pics of some of the cars that we have repaired. We removed the Northstar Engine, installed our Superstar Stud System, and now all of these vehicles have SuperStars in them! The Northstar is a good engine, but the SuperStar is a great engine!
To the Naysayers
I recently had a customer tell me that he found a negative review posted on our work. He said that he made a business decision when he chose us to do the work and is so happy he did. He felt that not only was the price perfect for his budget but the website had him convinced that we knew what we were doing. People today want to destroy you through social media for any misunderstanding. Sometimes they hurt other potential customers that really need the help and just love their Cadillacs.
Awhile back we had an older gentleman haul his Deville in from his ranch in Hemet. He eloquently explained to me upon his arrival that he had done all of his homework on this repair and had been quoted some outlandish prices. He simply signed the work order and told us to call him when the job was done. After the job was finished and he came to pick up his car, I asked him why wasn't he a skeptic and didn't appear nervous or worried when he originally made it to our shop. He explained to me that he could attribute a great deal of his success in life to finding "diamonds in the rough". He passionately spoke of how people shy away from the tough challenging jobs. And if they do the job, they want the $6000 - $8000 that he was quoted from the shops in his area. He told me that we had to be great at what we do to even advertise this repair, and that we must have mastered this repair to do it for such an affordable price. He also told me that my location played a big part in his decision as well. He explained that I was 5 minutes from Orange County, 1 minute from Long Beach, and 4 minutes from Compton. Then he smiled and politely stated that for some of our customers we had to do the job as if our lives depended on it! Whew, you talk about hittin' the nail on the head! lol
We have heard so much from the naysayers. Mechanics have convinced so many Cadillac owners to send their car to the crusher. The Dealer is the biggest culprit. We have had people call just to tell us that there is no way this job can be done professionally at our price. I have heard all the GM conspiracy theories from the dexcool to them purposely engineering a faulty engine for profit. Many people seem to think that if they pay top dollar, the work is of the highest quality.
The Northstar is like a wild horse with a twist. As you tame this engine from repeatedly working with it, trust me, it will be taming you as well! I have the busted knuckles and emotional scars to prove it.
This head gasket problem has turned many Cadillacs into a "disposable or throw-away" car. Please stop listening to the naysayer mechanics telling you why you should thrash your car. There are so many reasons to keep this American Flagship on the road. Let us or someone else that's reasonable repair your engine. And if you decide to turn your Northstar into a SuperStar, watch your quality of life increase knowing that you can drive your Cadillac anywhere with confidence.
